Our Story

With a creative, innovative and strong personality, Shobha Singh is an artist by nature. Her vision is to use art as a means of uniting the world. She has a also understands every single idea and need of the client by providing astonishing attire.In 2007, she read a book on the former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam named "Wings of Fire" and later worked on his life sketch with poetry. She got the golden opportunity to meet him in the year 2008. She was highly praised for her sketches which later inspired her to take her artistic and imaginative skills to an entirely new level by deciding to work towards upliftment of our Indian Traditional Art.In 2009, she successfully completed her Diploma in Fine-arts from The Polytechnic College of Women, New Delhi.She has participated in various solo and group art exhibitions in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.She always wanted to work towards the upliftment of Indian Traditional Art as it is vast and  most importantly relates to our age old culture. This vision was fulfilled in the year 2016 once she set up "Solah Kala Art & raft LLP".In the year 2018, after the retirement of her spouse, she moved to her village "Bokhara" located on the outskirts of Nagpur. There she opened up a vocational training institute to provide basic art skills to the women of the village. A diploma course in Fashion Designing was introduced in the year 2019.She had a lot of interesting challenges being woman and owning a business. Challenging myself, trying something new and practicing discipline to reach my goal giving me a strong sense of confidence makes success more likely. She is known for her creative and artistic designs which stand out on ramps. She is an Entrepreneur and works for her own customized designing Couture brand. Her research is rooted with Indian heritage handloom textiles.
